Training seems to fall into THREE categories:

1. Sheer Rubbish— Over promise and Under deliver
2. The Superstar Celebrity Club —Super costly, Super sleek & Super strong!
3. Steady and Reliable — Under promise and Over deliver

Now while most people can sniff out the first lot from a great distance – that still leaves you with the second and third option.

OK,  so now let’s talk about The Superstar Celebrity Club

Once again, these fall into two categories:

1. The Truly Greats
2. The Wannabe Greats

The Truly Greats are inspirational! They started out and worked their way up responsibly with dignity and integrity. They are Superstars – I’m talking about the likes of Frank Kern, John Reese and Mike Dillard. Their training costs 1000s of dollars/pounds and as wonderful as they are they often leave you realising just how little you know. These guys usually work with a select bunch of people, in the rarefied atmosphere of seasoned Internet professionals…they are inspirational, but way up there…probably waaaaay out of your reach! (as they are for most people new to doing business on the Internet who truthfully aren’t really ready for those programs yet.)

Then there are the Wannabe Greats. It’s difficult to not be impressed by their shiny cars and supposedly lavish lifestyles —- but just stop and think a minute! If that is what these marketers need to use to grab your attention, what are you going to do when it is time to promote and brand yourself – you’re going to be in direct competition with them! BUT – you don’t have the shiny car and the lavish lifestyle – so who do you think will win? Sure, this approach does work, but there are smarter, more sophisticated ways to market that won’t leave your online reputation looking like a disreputable used car salesman. AND you’ll be able to sleep better at night.

Now let’s talk about the third group – the one I belong to. This is the group that offers the best opportunity, by far, for most people.
