Bling Marketers

In my last video I listed several reasons why I cannot possibly succeed at Internet marketing. Well, I though that I would add a few more.

My 9 year old cameraman has been practising hard to see how shaky she can make this recording.

I’m not a Bling Marketer. I love the term It was coined by a member of our team Tranque Fuller. At least he thinks that he coined it. No matter – I like it!

A Bling Marketer will show you his flash car and maybe even bring you for a ride in it – holding the video camera in one hand, the steering wheel in the other. Heaven’s above!! You have to admire the skill of these chaps, though. Just a word of warning – don’t try it in the UK!! You get brought to court here for eating an apple while you drive. And, don’t forget that the weakest link in a car is the nut holding the wheel.

Then, they’ll show you their big house – maybe even take you on a tour when the wife is out. They’ll show you their bank balance. Not to brag of course! Excuse me! Is that how a normal businessman carries on? Of course not!! They may show you wedges of cash – just a morning’s work you understand! Right! Now who in their right mind would pay thousands of dollars in cash? Is the money hot or something?

Maybe I should show you my car, show you my house, show you my bank balance, show you my cash! Perhaps I should grow my hair, sip champagne on a faraway beach, pretend I am something I’m not. Maybe not!!

The message I want to get across is that anybody can succeed at Internet Marketing. You don’t have to be a Bling Marketer. You certainly don’t want to join up with one. You would be competing against your sponsor and wouldn’t stand a chance. You haven’t got the flash car, big house, healthy bank balance or bundles of cash yet to show how “successful” you are.

What are you to do then?

Well there is an antidote to bling marketing. I will tell you what it is. It’s the Jeremiah2911 Team.

Our team has the real secret of success. One that outdoes the Bling Marketers. One that puts everybody in the team on the same level – right from the start. So, newbies can earn while they learn. Check it out for yourself.

Oh, I won’t show you my car but let you listen to the sound of it’s engine. See if you can guess what it is.

The Antidote to Bling Marketing

Having a wonderful online business is market is a major asset. However, the business needs to be marketed. It will not market itself. Internet Marketing is an industry of business ownership pursued by people who have never been business owners. The skills and discipline necessary for success are completely foreign to them. That is why it is essential to be a member of a marketing team when joining any online business.

When searching for a sponsor many people are attracted to the so-called Bling Marketers who flash their expensive cars and expensive houses and show their online bank accounts. Excuse me! Is that how conventional business works? Not at all. Although this type of marketing works for these individuals the newbie needs to be aware that it will NOT work for him. Why? Well, simply because he will be competing directly against his sponsor with his flashy toys and huge bank balances, none of which the newbie has and can show off! He will end up frustrated, out of pocket and disillusioned feeling that he has been scammed. That is sad because the outcome could have been very different if he had joined a different sponsor and team.

What is the alternative?

Let me tell you.

The Jeremiah 2911 Team is a breath of fresh air in the murky waters that are Internet Marketing. There is no Bling Marketing. There is no hype. There are no false promises. There are no false claims about Internet earnings. The team ethos is firmly based on the Biblical principles of openness, honesty, integrity, support and camaraderie.

A part of the team Mission Statement is “We under-promise and over-deliver with Quality, Integrity and Trust” Although many members are Christian there is no requirement be a Christian to join. The team is truly multinational and multifaith. The team battle plan is simple but deadly effective. In addition to conventional marketing, members have the option of contributing to a co-operative advertising campaign. This ensures top placement in the search engines and means that everyone in our team, including the newbie, is on a level playing field and can start earning money straight away. This is especially important to newbies as they can “Earn while they Learn”.

The team motto is “We truly care and it shows.”

What a contrast to Bling Marketing.

Joining YourNetBiz through a sponsor who is a member of The Jeremiah 2911 Team is, without any doubt, the real secret of success in Internet Marketing.

NBT Syndrome

NBT Syndrome

What’s N.T.B?”

Ahhh yes… It stands for the “Next Big Thing”.

It’s a disease that infects all Internet Marketers causing them to join at least 5 online opportunities but never make any money.

Unless you deal with your NBT, you give up disheartened and disillusioned. Remember the 98% failure rate of online businesses.

Fortunately, it can be cured.

Lose the emotions. Lose the lottery dreams of the Next Big Thing.

This is a business where only the fittest, (and smartest), survive and thrive.

Until you learn how to:

1: Build a list.

2: Build a relationship with the people on that list.

3: Market to that list.

You will NEVER get the results you want, no matter how many companies you join.

Join YourNetBiz – MyInternetBusiness – and stick with it. We will show you how to succeed – BIG TIME.

YouNetBiz is Expensive

Is YourNetBiz expensive?

YourNetBiz – a division of MyInternetBusiness – may appear at first sight to be expensive, BUT, consider the cost of setting up even a small new conventional business. Shedloads of money! Not to mention the risks involved as well.

That puts the cost of joining YourNetBiz into true perspective.

You are joining a business-in-a-box which you can get up and running quickly – 7 days- with every likelihood that you will rapidly recoup your joining costs. Then, after that it’s all profit.

What other business can offer that?

Business-in-a-Box

YouNetBiz, a part of MyInternetBusiness, is a complete online “Business-in-a-Box”.

It is 90% automated with a choice of capture pages, a personalised autoresponder email series, an option to use a leads generation program which sends targeted prospects to your capture page, your own Personal Business Assistant to answer your prospects’ questions and close your sales.

You get full training, support and one-to-one mentoring. No Telling or Selling by you is required! It will allow you to get out of the rat race, give you a lot of free time to spend as you choose, and give you the opportunity to build your business to potentially over six figures in a year

What’s the point of Traffic Exchanges?

Traffic Exchanges are one way of directing free traffic to your site. Certainly using them will increase your site’s hit rate considerably – there is no doubt about that. However, what do the visitors do? I ran a trial to find out!

The idea behind Traffic Exchanges is simple. For each site you visit you are awarded a credit, and, as a result your site will receive one hit. The more credits you get, the more hits! Generally you need to spend 10 seconds on each site to gain a credit.

The clever way to rapidly build up credits is to surf several sites at once. To do this you need at least four Traffic Exchange accounts. Use your bowser tabs to open each exchange. Start surfing on one exchange. The clock starts rolling there. Move on to the next site and click on its link, then on to the next. By the time you have started all four clocks, 10 seconds will be up and you can return to the first exchange and repeat the process. No need to waste time looking at the sites!!

Four of the best Traffic Exchange sites are:

I set up accounts with these and started to surf. In 30 minutes I had built up 400 credits quite easily. Hits started to pour into my site. Statcounter got quite excited. BUT, when you actually check what is happening it is clear that very very few visitors opt-in! Everybody must just be simply building up credits without looking at the site content.

I will continue to try this for a full week. However, if first impressions are anything to go by, I suspect that Traffic Exchanges will be rapidly abandoned. Google Adwords rules OK!

3 Fundamental Mistakes To Avoid When Choosing A Mentor For Your New Business Opportunity

You have chosen a business to join. Fantastic! Now you need to find the right mentor. There are so many to choose from. How do you get it right?

There are many traps people fall into when choosing their mentor. There are three specific areas requiring especial attention.

1) The first, and probably the most important mistake people make is not contacting their potential mentor. Many people join a business without even sending an e-mail or picking up the phone and speaking to the person they will be working with.

Don’t make that mistake. This is your business and you want to be sure that your mentor will be accessible when you need him. If you call him and he doesn’t answer his phone or return your call in a prompt fashion – usually within 24-48 hours – how will you be able to rely on him for help when you need it?

The same advice applies to e-mail communication. If you don’t get a personal e-mail response within 24 to 48 hours when you send an e-mail asking for more information, then that is usually a sign of an uncaring mentor.

Remember that he is supposed to be there for you. This will be your business and you need to make sure that your mentor will help you when you need it most. Having a connection or bond with that person will help in your quest for success. It is much easier to work with someone you get along with and like!

2) The second mistake to avoid when choosing your mentor is not asking enough questions. Ask as many questions as you can about the business Find out what specific help he can offer you.

Enquire about resources he has access to, such as other team members in his group, or leaders in the business, who can help you too. The more help available, the better.

Find out about your mentor’s business background. What has he done in the past? Will his previous experience be useful to you in your new business? The answers to these questions can be very revealing.

3) The last mistake to avoid when choosing a mentor is rushing your decision. You don’t want to jump in with both feet the first time you see a business opportunity. Make absolutely sure that this is what you want to do.

Building your business will take considerable time and effort There are no magic bullets or secrets that will make you rich. Don’t feel bad about grilling your would be mentor. Remember, this is not personal. It’s business. You have to look out for yourself. That’s YOU!

Choosing a mentor who suits you is the crucial first step to success. Get that right and you will reap considerable dividends. You will be in deep trouble if you get it wrong.

4 Truths Every Internet Marketer Should Know

To be successful in the intensely competitive world of Internet marketing you must be aware of some basic truths. Incorporating these into your business strategy will reap substantial rewards.

1: People buy from those they like and trust. When someone is looking to join an Internet business, they usually dig around trying to find out as much information as possible on the business they are considering joining, and the person who introduced them to it. They want to unearth anything bad about the business and the people involved in it.

2: People want to get as much information as possible about the business. They need to convince themselves and maybe their loved ones that their purchase was justified. You see, people buy on emotion and then defend their purchase with logic. They are looking for logic! They surf for hours, only to be more confused than when they started. They are struck down with hype overload!

3: People want to know about what benefits they should expect from the business and what support their sponsor will offer them. They want to ensure that they will not be abandoned after they join. Unfortunately, this is not an unusual occurrence. Not infrequently, they join someone who is absolutely clueless about how to run any business, never mind an Internet business! Sadly they succumbed to the hype and unrealistic promises given to them without checking the facts and actually getting in touch with their would be sponsor.

4: People are looking for confirmation that they will get help to start their business, and then have continued help and support when they need it later on. They want to find someone they can build a relationship with – someone who will help them build their business. They want to earn an income doing something that they usually have no clue about. Very scary stuff. They need your help!!

There is much more to Internet marketing then just placing a few tired advertisements on the Internet. If you think otherwise you face a rough ride.

You must think as your client thinks. Put yourself in his shoes. Try to feel as he feels. What does he want to know? How can you convince him that he should join YOUR business. Then, when you have done all that, plan your marketing strategy to answer the questions you would want answered if YOU were looking to join YOUR business!

Focus very clearly on my 4 marketing points and your marketing will be successful.

The Truth About The Online Marketing Business Many Internet Marketers Would Prefer You Never Found Out About

Craigslist & Craygo

Craigslist is a central network of online communities, featuring free online classified advertisements.

Manual placement of ads is painfully slow, so Craygo is recommended. The Basic version semi-automates the process – you still need to manually enter the captcha codes. However, the Elite version does this automatically though you have to pay for the service. The captcha reading service is outsourced by Craygo. The codes are actually read by humans 24/7 – hence the charge!

My advice is to try the Basic version first  – currently $57.77 – and upgrade later if you are getting good results and can justify the cost – currently $345 but discounted if you already have the Basic version.

Getting Started

To get started view the tutorials.

Basically click on Ad Manager (Left top corner) ->  Manage Campaigns -> New CL Campaign.

Campaign – Services

Sub Campaign – Sm Biz Ads

Choose cities – Choose wherever you wish to post to. 10 at a time. Do not select all!!

Creating Ads

Create several ads. Avoid using commerical URLs such as SnipURL in your ads as Craigslist is becoming increasingly strict and will probably block it. If all else fails use an email address instead.

Insert a Wiki token to each ad and a Scramble token to the title. Doing this enable multiple ad placements of similar ads as each ad is seen to be different.

Unfortunately Craigslist will not pick up Font colour so making the Wiki text near white to make it virtually invisible will not work!!

Creating Tiltes and Email Addresses

Create a selection of titles and add them using Tools -> Rotate Headlines.

You will need several email addresses. Do not use your premium addresses. You will get spammed!! When added – Tools -> email Manager – Craygo will allocate these randomly.

Posting

Select the campaign you wish to post – right top corner – and click Post Campaign.

Special issues:

IP address blocking

You probably will get your IP address blocked if you are posting more than 20 ad per day. To get around that you should use a Dial up connection when using Craygo. A new IP address is allocated each time you dial up. Disable your broadband when doing this. Craygo Elite can be set up to redial after a specified number of posts. Sadly, using a program which generates proxy IP addresses, such as Anonymizer, will not work as Craigslist is good a spotting them.

Ghosting

For the past few months Craigslist has been blocking/filtering ads. They appear to post but do not show within the listings for the city/category that you posted in.

Your ads can be ghosted/blocked/filtered no matter how you post – using Craygo, manually or other.
